Why we exist
Hiring, onboarding, business and tenancy decisions are often made using fragmented documents, informal introductions and information that is difficult to confirm. Onmero creates a clearer process for consent, relevant checks and readable findings.
We do not replace the judgement of the person or organisation requesting a check. We provide better-organised evidence so that judgement can be more informed and consistent.

ONMERO’s founders bring many years of professional experience across cybersecurity, software engineering, penetration testing, identity systems and threat detection.
Academic and professional grounding
Their combined background includes a Master’s degree in Cybersecurity and Penetration Testing and a PhD focused on threat detection, supported by sustained practical work in cyber defence and secure software development.
Relevant professional certifications
Qualifications held across the founding team include CompTIA Security+, CompTIA Cybersecurity Analyst (CySA+), CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner (CASP+, now SecurityX), Cisco security credentials, EC-Council Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), and Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).
This is complemented by candidacy toward the Canadian Information Processing Society’s Information Systems Professional (I.S.P.) designation and continuing professional development across security and software engineering.
